Welcome to Farthings Veterinary Group

JUNE 2012 is NATIONAL MICROCHIP MONTH BUT we are starting EARLY! From 1st of May all the way through to the 30th June 2012 we are offering microchips for just £ 10.00 compared to the normal price of  £ 21.96 - why not do it now before it becomes compulsory!  FIND OUT MORE IN OUR NEWS SECTION.

For over Fifty years Farthings Veterinary Group has been providing care for the domestic animals and pets of West Sussex at our surgeries in Horsham and Billingshurst.

During this half century we have kept pace with the tremendous advances in veterinary knowledge and techniques that have taken place. We provide a full service to our clients and their companion animals.

In addition to the traditional role of a veterinary practice we also offer nurse clinics for kittens and puppies, adolescents and older pets as well as special consultations to look at diet and dental health.

Farthings also regularly run their hugely popular Puppy Parties thanks to our nurses Robyn Reed and Louisa Stribley helping you socialise and learn about the newest member of your family.

"Professional Care, Personal Service"

Currently there are six veterinary surgeons working at Horsham and Billingshurst surgeries, our vets also cover all our out of hours and emergency calls ensuring that you are seen by a Farthings Vet in a crisis and not a stranger.

They each have their own interests and specialities and can provide expertise throughout a wide field of veterinary work.

Operations are carried out using the most up-to-date anaesthetics and together with anaesthetic monitoring equipment we take care to ensure that surgical procedures are as safe as possible.

We are pleased to have launched the Healthy Pet Club for cats, dogs and rabbits in 2011 and have also now started a similar scheme for kittens and puppies. The Healthy Pet Club enables our clients to spread the cost of preventative treatments over the course of the year as well as offering regular special offers and large discounts for all its members. To find out more about this please look in the articles section of the website here, or speak to any member of staff.

CONSULTATIONS IN BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE FOR THE HARD OF HEARING ARE AVAILABLE

Our Head Nurse Alice is currently studying British Sign Language at level 6 and is more than happy to provide communication support to our clients.  Please email vets@farthingsvet.co.uk  or contact Alice directly at alice.bates@cvsvets.com  to use this service or for more information.

If it is an emergency please contact Farthings directly on 01403 252900.
